Membership Descriptions
Home Club Member
A skater may designate only one club as their home club. This is the club announced at competitions and where the skater spends most of their ice time. Home Club membership is required for skaters who have passed U.S. Figure Skating Pre-Preliminary Singles or Skating Skills tests.
Aspire Junior Club Member
EPFSC offers an Aspire Junior Club membership for skaters moving up from the Skate School program. This membership is available to skaters from Basic 3 through U.S. Figure Skating Pre-Preliminary Singles or Skating Skills tests.
Junior Club members typically participate in our Junior Club group classes. The classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and have a ratio of 6 skaters or less per coach. Junior Club members are also encouraged to continue lessons with the Eden Prairie Skate School, and to contract additional ice time for private coaching. We encourage all Junior Club members to consider private coaching as soon as they are comfortable taking the next steps in their skating journey.
During their first year, Junior Club members are exempt from Club fundraising and volunteer requirements.
Associate Member
Skaters who wish to purchase EPFSC Club ice more than three times per calendar year must hold an Associate membership. Associate members must also be U.S. Figure Skating members and have a designated home club.
Collegiate and Adult Memberships
While the Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club primarily serves skaters ages 5–18, we also offer collegiate and adult memberships for those who wish to train and compete under our name at U.S. Figure Skating competitions.
